The project was particularly complex due to the particular location of the building and the need for the structure to remain active throughout the entire construction period, allowing for the simultaneous extension of the existing structure on the north side with a new building consisting of a basement and five floors above ground. The area of the complex where the retirement home is located is approximately 6500 square metres and will accommodate a total of 66 users. With the new design solution, a better distribution of space is defined with an area per room adapted to the new regulations and with the creation of new rooms for the better performance of common services.
