The area subject to intervention is located in the municipality of Rivalta di Torino within the territorial area consisting of the areas of the former artillery depots known as ‘Casermette’ in Via Carignano, south of the municipal territory, adjacent to the former Fiat Rivalta industrial complex. The fundamental aim of the intervention was to minimise the consumption of energy and non-renewable material resources, and to make maximum use of natural resources for environmentally sustainable development. The project involved the construction of a building with a rectangular layout on three above-ground floors containing 18 dwellings of different types.
